Apache2 is configured for a beast of a system as a default. You don't really need to make changes to apache2's configuration if you're going to serve pages within your home network or to develop something internally since you're probably going to be the only person accessing this install, but you will want to make drastic changes to apace's configuration if you're serving pages to the outside world if you're using a small virtual private server or virtual dedicated server with 256mb or 512mb of memory.

So I've been trying to maximize performance for drupal6, gallery2, gallery3, and drupal 7 sites with a small vps and have figured that there is a lot of misinformation out there that does not work. A majority of hecklers throwing out ideas without any resolution like they know the answer. Please shut the funk up if you don't have something constructive to provide the community.
